Dr. Frazier came to CBT in January 1999 with his wife Rachel after being pastor of the Stanley Heights Baptist Church in East Ridge, TN for eight years. Pastor Frazier is currently serving as the First Vice-President of Missions for the Baptist Bible Fellowship International and also as the Representative for Korea. The Fraziers have three children, Lauren, Justin, and Connor.
David was born and raised in Canton, OH. He has been on staff at CBT since 1970. His current areas of ministry include the hospital ministry, shut-ins, funerals and weddings. He also teaches the Encouragers Adult Bible Fellowship. Dave and his wife Kay have one daughter, Tori.
Delaney, originally from North Carolina joined the staff at CBT in 1978. He has served in various ministries of the Church. His current areas of ministry include the hospital ministry, weddings, funerals and teaching Truth Seekers Adult Bible Fellowship. Delaney is married to Mary who serves the Lord by his side. Delaney has four children Rick, Dan, Laurie, and Rene.
Jake was raised in Canton, Ohio and joined the pastoral staff in 1998. Jake and his wife Susan have three grown children: Tristyn, Jessica and Taylor. Jake teaches the Bridgebuilders Adult Bible Fellowship. His ministry consists of Discipleship, Counseling, Bible Studies, Grief and Divorce Support as well as other Pastoral Care Duties.
Originally from Stockbridge, Georgia, Neal joined the staff in January 2004 after planting a church in Salt Lake City, Utah. Neal oversees various outreach ministries of the church as well as Public Relations which includes Radio, Television, and Internet Ministries.
Robert was born in the small southwest Virginia town of Grundy. At age 6 his family moved to the Richmond, Virginia area where he spent the next 34 years. In 2001 his employer relocated he and his family to Dover, Ohio where they currently reside. He joined the staff here at CBT in September of 2010 as Director of Operations. His goal is to manage the activities of the day-to-day operations in order to allow the pastoral staff to focus on the ministries of the church. Robert was saved and baptized at age 16. He is married to Sheila and they have three children, Katie, Nikki, and Jesse.
Rachel grew up in Columbia, SC as the daughter of Pastor and Mrs. Clayton Shumpert. While in college she met her husband and our pastor, Mike. They have been married for 26 years and have three children – Lauren, Justin, and Connor. Rachel has worked with kids in various capacities throughout the years – teaching music, AWANA, VBS and Sunday School – just to mention a few. You do not have to talk with Rachel very long to know that she absolutely loves children.
Steve grew up in Norway House, Manitoba, Canada where his parents are missionaries to the native people of that Indian Reserve. Steve joined the staff of Canton Baptist Temple in August of 2007. With his wife Heather beside him, he serves as the Director of Camp CHOF – a year round camping ministry of Canton Baptist Temple. Steve and Heather have two children, Hudson and Kinlee.
Trent was born and raised in Navarre, Ohio. His family joined CBT in 2001, and in 2005 he was a counselor at Camp CHOF. The ministry of Camp CHOF and the working of the Lord was the catalyst that placed Trent where he is today. He was baptized at CBT, and then in 2013 surrendered for full-time ministry. Being an educator, Trent is passionate about people and reaching them with the Gospel of Christ. Trent is also the Middle School Director where he is faithfully assisted by his wife, Tristyn, and a team of Middle School Adult Leaders. Trent and Tristyn have one daughter, Josephine.
Jeremy joined the CBT staff in July 2013 as the College Ministry Director. He was saved and baptized at CBT and completed a two year internship before joining the staff full time. Jeremy and his wife Melissa have three children Lucas, Hailey and Emma and one on the way. In addition to leading the college ministry, Jeremy also serves in Reformers Unanimous Addictions Program on Friday nights.
